Dorota Blaszkiewicz
Ballet Instructor
Dorota Blaszkiewicz has been teaching pre-ballet, ballet and dance classes at BRS since 2003. She is an experienced, well-educated teacher and cho re og ra pher. She completed education in the areas of classical ballet, dance tech nique, rhythmics, costume design and choreography at Public Ballet School at the Music As so ci a tion of Krakow, Poland in 1986. In 1988, after com plet ing a four-year pro gram, she was granted an Instructor Certificate in Cho re og ra phy. She also pursued a Masters de gree in Education from Jagiellonian University in 1992. Between 1986-1992 she was a ballet instructor and a member of the Folk Ensemble at Nova Huta Cultural Center, which pre sent ed polish traditional danc es on many stages around the world, including the UNESCO International Folk Dance Festival in Egypt in 1990. She was also a dance teacher in a private elementary school with an ex tend ed art pro gram and a dance instructor and choreographer with the Children's Experimental Theater of Music and Dance in Krakow. She loves teaching dance and her ex pe ri ence en ables her to incorporate an artistic vision into her work, as well as ed u ca tion al values.
